Pastor Marquis Jackson
A North Carolina native, Marquis is an emerging apostolic voice who loves to train and equip others to realize their God-given purpose and destiny. He uses his years of experience as a professional educator and Army veteran to teach the Bible in a way that is clear, relevant and practical. A third-generation pastor, Marquis grew up in the church, but at age 28 had a life-changing encounter with Jesus. Since then, he has been passionately sharing and living the word of God. Marquis is a life-long learner who enjoys reading, traveling and creating. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Arts in School Administration from North Carolina Central and Gardner-Webb Universities, respectively.
Jeannette Jackson
Born in the Philippines and traveling to the US as a baby, Jeannette has overcome many challenges by the grace of God. That is, in fact, the meaning of her name! She is a prophetic dreamer, an intercessor, and an anointed deliverance minister. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, decorating, and laughing out loud! She has a Bachelor of Arts in English from North Carolina Central University and a Master of Arts in Human Services with a concentration in Marriage and Family from Liberty University.
Marquis and Jeannette met while students at NCCU. They have been married since 2003 and have two daughters, Njeri and Salina, who are both active in ministry.
Leadership Team
The Leadership Team has the responsibility of overseeing and ensuring the health and effectiveness of the ministry. Team members work with the Pastor to ensure the fulfillment of the vision by providing guidance, support, insight, research, feedback, and accountability.
