A virtuous and excellent wife [worthy of honor] is the crown of her husband,
Proverbs 12:4 (AMP)
Marriage is a gift from Heaven. This biblical institution was established by God between one man and one woman to advance the human race so the message of the Kingdom continues from generation to generation.
Christian marriages should model Christ’s relationship with the church (Ephesians 5:22-27), and according to scripture, a wife is her husband’s crown. Together they can reign and rule nations because of their love and submission to Christ first and, secondly, to one another.
